Bligh Recliner/Lift Chair

An electrically operated recliner / liftchair specifically designed for those needing assistance to sit or stand.   Controlled by a simple 2 button mobile handset that conveniently fastens within easy reach on the outside arm when not in use, the reclining back and extending footrest may be smoothly operated and reclined to any position required.   The handset control may be mounted on the left or right as required.

A special feature is the ability to raise a seated occupant to a full standing position, or smoothly lower a standing person to a normal sitting or full reclining position , all at the touch of a button.   The mechanism is powered by a maintenance free motor, fitted with an external transformer for safety, with provision for battery back up in case of power failure.

The motor and mechanism complies with Australian Standard AS3100, and carries a manufacturers warranty (maximum weight limit 120kg), while the frame, seat springs and high resilience Dunlop "Endurofoam" seat cushion each carry a 10 year guarantee.

The seat cushion is constructed of high resilience Dunlop "Endurofoam" with a luxurious foam overlay for additional comfort, and a removable zip on / zip off cover for convenience.   Soft, supportive back support is created with fibre filled cushions, with a concealed zip in the lumbar cushion to enable adjustment to suit individual needs.

As with all our furniture this design may be "personalised" or modified by our tradespeople if required.
